Tanner Bingaman's Pretty Big Garden
WRITHING FOLK FROM THE HILLS OF APPALACHIA
Tanner Bingaman's Pretty Big Garden is a recording project and live-performance outfit built around the distinct songwriting and arrangements found throughout Tanner's eclectic repertoire. The debut record from Tanner Bingaman's Pretty Big Garden, Everthing & Nothing explores sonic territory from raw field recordings to polished pop gems, pulling from a wealth of influences spanning folk-punk to ambient to Indian classical, featuring a wild range of tonalities and instrumentation. Think Pinegrove meets Tyler Childers with a touch of the Flecktones; the sound of writhing folk forged from Appalachian mud. Everything & Nothing is due out this June 2024 in limited edition cassette, CD, and vinyl formats (pre-orders available now). The album-release shows are set to feature Tanner (banjo, guitar, harmonica, vocals), Lauren Kerstetter (vocals), Allan Combs II (guitar), Eric Avey (upright bass), and Joseph McAnulty (fiddle).
